Think About It........

God doesn't expect us to live in a mistake-free life. He knows that every person makes mistakes every day (including you and me). so how to make God happy to see us....The trick is to learn from your mistakes, not to return to them...

Think about the last time you really blew it. Did you learn from your mistake, or did you go back and make the same error again ????  What do you think God wanted to teach you through all your mistake? How can you avoid making the same mistake again ?

God really knows that we are not a perfect creature....but can we learn from our mistake and not do the same mistake again ?????

just think about it....

Dare To Speak

TIPS on Delivering A Speech

When I was having my first time to deliver a speech in front of hundreds people, I really felt that pairs of eyes were watching me from head to toe.... I felt like a criminal!!! I tried hard to solve this problem, and finally....after many times of practices.....I dare to speak !! wow, that's really unbelievable....and now I want to share some tips that hopefully can help anyone who hasn't had courage to speak in front of the audience. Here they are ...............

1. Choose an interesting topic which is booming at the time, understand it  and master it very well

2. Practice, practice, practice! Rehearse out loud with all the equipment you plan on using.  Practice with a timer and allow time for the unexpected.

3. Know the audience. Greet some of the audience members as they arrive. It’s easier to speak to a group of friends than it is to speak to strangers, but you have to know your audience well. It will avoid you from the nerve and keep relax

4. Know the room. Arrive early, walk around the speaking area, and practice using the microphone and any visual aids.

5. Your voice should be loud, clear, and confident. Visualize the audience clapping—it will boost your confidence.

6. Realize that people want you to succeed. Audiences want you to be interesting, stimulating, informative, and entertaining. They’re rooting for you.

7. Don’t apologize for any nervousness or problem—the audience probably never noticed it.

8. Concentrate on the message, not the medium. Focus your attention away from your own anxieties and concentrate on your message and your audience.

 dare yourself to speak !

A  MOTHERS  LOVE

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his mom dried her hands on  an apron, she read it, and this is what it said :

For cutting the grass : $ 5.00
For cleaning up my room this week : $ 1.00
For going to the store for you: $50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping :$25
Taking out the garbage : $ 1.00
For getting a good report card : $ 5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard : $ 2.00
Total owed : $ 89

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he’d written on, and this is what she wrote :

For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me  :
NO CHARGE
For all the nights that I’ve sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you  :
NO CHARGE
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you’ve caused through the years  :
NO CHARGE
For all the nights that were filled with dread and for the worries I knew were ahead  :
NO CHARGE
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose  :
NO CHARGE
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is   :
NO CHARGE

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said , “ Mom, I sure do love you.” And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote : “ PAID IN FULL “

I hardly remembered the beautiful times with my mom. We have a bad relation. Since I was born, I was moved and taken care by my aunt. Never forget that..... I never get the answer why my mother had to do that to me, even I’m her youngest child. During my teenager, I never felt mother’s love. The thing that I remembered was only my duty for the house-works. It was a must or I’d get the punishment!!!! The most beautiful moment came to my life was when I got marriage with someone whom I really love...but again, my mother couldn’t accept our marriage and she did one thing that I never forget until right now. I always try not to have a revenge in my heart, I always try to make myself understand about what had happened, I always try to get the positive sides from all those happened. I always try...
One thing that makes me able to go through these situations is being a mother. That was a miracle for me. When doctors said that I could hardly get my pregnancy because of the cyst, God made me become a mom... and today I’m the mother with one beautiful and smart   daughter.
I never want to write like the mother’s quotation above, because I know that my only daughter never write such a thing. She really knows that all things happen around our life are because of the LOVE of GOD.
Hope everyone who reads this story will have a good relation with their mom.
“ Thank You, LORD for being my shepherd “

Improving Your Writing Skill

“ Yes, YOU can !!!!! “

This article is to persuade YOU to be able in writing an English text. According to my experience, most of the students of high school are not eager to write an English text because they are lack of vocabularies and knowledge, but most of them are afraid of the mistakes done during the writing process. It’s not a surprise for me because as we know, English is not their first or even the second language, English is their foreign language. Even it’s a little bit harder, trust me, YOU can write an English text well if YOU always try to do so.....

Knowing this situation, let me share with YOU about some tips in writing an English text. Hope these tips can be more useful.

1.   READING in English

Start your reading habit by reading English books. Every book that you read will give you new words or even new phrase or sentence formulas. Unconciously, you are getting used in knowing how to use the language. Start yourself to read non-fiction books because they are easier to understand than fiction books.

2.   LISTENING to Native Speakers

Watching and listening the native speakers are useful things in practicing conversational writing. Through these activity, you will know not only how to use the language but also the topic content.

3.   THINKING in English

When you’re going to write, always bring your mind to English set. Why ? when you write and still think in your own language, then you try to translate it into English, it won’t work, because of the different grammar rules and idioms. If you force to do so, your writing seems to be clumsy and unnatural.

4.   Never stop WRITING

The best way to learn anything is by throwing yourself out there and practicing. When you are starting to write, you should write something every day to develop your writing routine and will become a writing habit.

5.   NOT being AFRAID of Mistakes

When someone corrects your writing, you have to be thankful to him/her because you are being guided to the right direction and never stop studying about English spelling and  grammar, because it will help you in making less mistakes.

Having fun in writing in English and share your thoughts to anyone !

Take a look on this quotation, try to understand the meaning and please share your comments on it.......
